How to enter

Who can enter?

Companies, resorts, regions, restaurants and venues in the ski and snowboard industry who feel their efforts into improving and enhancing peoples’ experiences in the mountains over the past winter season deserve recognition in one or more categories.


Entry has now closed.

Shortlists will now be revealed on August 18, and public voting for those categories that are judged in this manner will open shortly after. Public voting will close at 5pm on 6th October. The awards ceremony will take place on October 26 at the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show.

How do I enter?

Entry is by submission; please complete a separate application for each category you wish to enter following the general award guidelines and any specific category guidelines as they may differ from category to category. Your entry is written by you and must be a maximum of one side of A4 and submitted as a Word or PDF document with a minimum 11pt text size.

You can include up to 4 supporting media files should you wish. This can include images, press releases and videos. (Maximum four images or supporting documents of 250KB each. The video cannot be sent as a file but must be hosted online on a resource such as Vimeo or You Tube. Please include a link to the video within your submission). If your entry is short-listed we will then be in touch to ask for more hi-resolution imagery if necessary.

Your written submission must be no more than one single sheet of A4 (11 point type, single line spacing) in either Word or PDF format.

Guidelines for your written submission:

Your entry is the basis on which the judges will vote for and shortlist entries in the first stage of judging. The page should show how you meet both the general and specific criteria for the category or categories you are entering

At the top of your entry the following information must be listed:

  • Category name
  • Company / resort /organisation
  • Contact name including phone number and email address

Depending on the category, your submission should cover the following:

  • How you think your product / resort development etc has met the category criteria
  • What outcomes and tangible results have come about as a result of your activity
  • How have the skiing or snowboarding public benefited from your activity
  • Please consider that the awards are annual (unless otherwise specified) and are based on activity between the last awards and this year’s awards. As such please ensure your entry focuses on what you have achieved or developed within this period. The shortlist committee will be focusing on this aspect amongst others and if the entry does not show tangible achievements in this specific period it will not be considered.
